Announcement : 2nd APT Conference Preparatory Group in preparation for WRC

Posted by mhomar on 2009/4/28 11:23:32 (153 reads) Kindly be informed that the 2nd APT Conference Preparatory Group Meeting for WRC-2011 (APG2011-2) will be held from 22 to 26 June 2009 and SKMM would like to invite you to join the Malaysian delegation to the said meeting. The venue will be at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON in Hangzhou, China. The objectives of the APG2011-2 Meeting are to reviews ITU-R studies related to WRC-11 Agenda Items and developed APT Preliminary Views on the Agenda Items. Besides, the meeting will also approve the working method of APG for WRC-11.  The registration and Hotel booking guarantee form can be downloaded from here. Interested participants are required to submit the necessary forms by 27th May 2009 either by fax to +603-8688 1006 or e-mail to npwg2011secretariat@cmc.gov.my Please note that all participation’s cost should be borne by respective organizations. The details are as follows: Date: 2nd December 2008 Time: 9.00 am Venue: SKMM Auditorium The meeting will start with plenary session follow by Working Parties’ kick-off meeting. The plenary session will among other confirms the appointment of chairperson and vice chairperson for all six working parties as well as updates on WRC-2011 Work Plan and WRC Malaysia NPWG Web Portal. The kick-off meeting will be attended by NPWG-2011 members, working party chairpersons and desk officers. The working party kick-off meeting will identify and review agenda items associated to working party. The NPWG-2011 kick-off meeting programme is as shown.

Announcement : NPWG-2011 Briefing Session

Over 75 members of the public, industries and government agencies attended this briefing session. Arrangement for the first working party meeting is under progress.
